Bandit Signs have many names:

1.      Roadside Signs (Signs placed along the side of the road to attract more business)

2.      Stake Signs (These signs are commonly placed on either wire stakes or wooden stakes)

3.      Advertising Signs(Obviously these signs are used to advertise products and or services)

4.      Telephone Pole Signs (Many of these signs are placed on telephone poles because this avoids the cost of stakes)

5.      Coroplast Signs (Coroplast is a brand name of corrugated plastic, and was the innovator of this material and therefore most corrugated plastic is  referred to as Coroplast whether made by Coroplast or not)

6.      Corrugated Plastic Signs (Like corrugated cardboard except made out of plastic instead. (3-5 Years outdoor life))

Bandit Signs got their name because of the following 2 reasons:

1.   They are illegal in many local municipalities across the country. (However these illegal laws are seldom strictly enforced). These localities for the most part understand that they are actually breaking the law themselves by attempting to deprive you of your constitutional rights to “FREE SPEECH” and “FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION”. There is no federal law prohibiting these signs! The right to pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness are guaranteed inalienable rights by the constitution. The constitution specifically states that no law shall be passed abridging these rights. It has even been ruled that gag orders in court cases are not enforceable.

2.   These signs are great at stealing business from just about any location that you desire. (Stealing like a Bandit)

Bandit signs are usually made out of corrugated plastic. The 2 sizes which are most commonly used are 12”x18” and 18”x24”. Most people opt for the 12”x18” size  because they are half of the price of 18”x24” signs. Also, many signs are being picked up by the municipalities and do-gooder citizens. Therefore from experience, we have determined that the numbers are much more effective than the increase in size. (Better 100 small signs than 50 large signs)
